Synopsis : Who says horror film should be set in a rickety old house and away from the settlement? As performed by Oren Peli in Paranormal Activity, Wan and Whannell break the unwritten rules of horror movies. They seemed to say, “hey, modern house in a densely populated settlements can be haunted!.” Yes, the settings used are modern, but do not imagine the Lambert family home is a luxury. Classical interior room, hallway and save a lot of the mysterious room. Lighting was almost always dim. Save electricity? Could be, especially Josh (Patrick Wilson) and Renai (Rose Byrne) has just moved with their three children. At home that looks beautiful but mysterious, they are ready to live a better life. But of course everything is not running properly. Their son, Dalton (Ty Simpkins) fell from a ladder when the ‘browse’ attic and sudden coma. Doctors do not find there is something wrong in the body of Dalton. So what happened to Dalton?
Renai begin to experience a variety of irregularities since Dalton coma. As anyone watching his movements. Josh became frequent overtime, making Renai trapped alone in the house. When things are getting out of control, demanding Renai Josh to move house. Does that mean the terror faced by Renai ended just like that? No, because, according to Elise (Lin Shaye), a psychic, rather than their house is haunted, but Dalton! When Renai employs two ghostbuster, Specs (Leigh Whannell) and Tucker (Angus Sampson), I think Insidious will turn into a horror movie that is predictable. They are ridiculous behavior intended to break the tension the audience. Quite successfully. However, since their presence and Elise, tension actually increased tension and increased. Josh is beginning its emergence is seen only as a complementary course turns toward ending plays an important role. Terror faced by Renai and the audience in this new house in fact even worse and even more gripping than ever before
